Wood Stories I love to go shopping in the woods.  I think some of my prettier turns have been from downed limbs and gnarled wood.

As you are looking at my products and the woods I am using I would like to tell you a couple of things. Unless it is specifically stated as a 1 of a kind, what you see is just an example of my work.

Each item is hand turned one at a time so there will never be any two exactly alike.

Even wood is a living breathing thing so each piece of wood will vary with color and grain movement.  A lot of other wood turners and wood workers charge extra for burls, figured and curly woods like the one pictured, but I do not, because I figure it to just be a bonus for the person who buys this item. 

When you order something from me I will turn each piece with the love and respect that God and nature used when growing the tree.  I also turn a lot of distressed wood which is wood with knots, checks, cracking and worm holes it can also be caused by lightning strikes, fence wire grown into the tree or even having been shot. Some people like this kind of wood and allows that it adds character to the wood.
